Through years of experience insulating traditional British houses we have developed the Retrovive system that insulates the whole room whilst leaving most floorboards in place. And we leave your home clean and tidy!
How it works.
We select a few floorboards which we lift with care. This allows us to fit a breathable membrane underneath at just the right depth to hold enough insulation. Then, we fill between the timber joists right up to the floorboards with our high-performance loose-fibre insulation. This is blown in under pressure to pack it tightly into all the corners for maximum effect.
The result?
Your floor completely insulated, often within a day. No need to redecorate as we don't disturb the skirting. No problem accessing pipes and cables in future as our insulation remains loosely packed. And existing air bricks are kept clear to maintain the ventilation beneath.

We go to a lot of time and trouble to ensure the edges and difficult-to-reach corners are properly insulated, which is another reason why our underfloor insulation system performs so well compared to other approaches.
